A moral tale in pigeon English

do urban birds
remember the sky

civilized
as you and eye
usual squatters
seldom fliers
sit on glass
made strong with wires
wait for food
find ambient heat
think nesting's good
on a concrete sheet
must adapt
that's evolution
seek an easier solution
leaving nature
loving nurture
they're creators
of their future

what's your lesson
feathered creature
symbiotic
city teacher

don't wish for heaven
there ain't a chance
just conform to circumstance
