I now check the electronic version as faithfully as I once checked that little box. But I'm old. I still like thoughts on paper and even better if they're handwritten.

I totally agree - there is nothing better than to receive a handwritten note or letter from someone that you care about. I am always so appreciative when someone takes the time to sit down and write some thoughts on paper, and then to mail it to me. Your post makes me long for "the good old days!"
