I'm not tempting Adam

there's no serpent in the tree

I'm the one who saw the fruit

that's waiting there for me

I'll let no angry angel

exile me from my share

I'm staying in the garden

my rightful place is there

A jealous god would banish

and hold his knowledge fast

but not the loving goddess

her wisdom spread will last
