Journey

How are we shaped by the places we have lived?

We carry parts of the world with us as we travel long after the dust has left our feet.

Where is the white cliffs scene?

The white cliffs are just outside Seaford in Sussex where I lived 1946-1949.

The others, from the top: the autumn scene with the church is Arnprior, Ontario 1965-66; Main Street with cinema is Prince George, northern British Columbia 1963; the path through the green hills is Chalford, a village in the Cotswolds mid 1950s; the wooden houses with mountains in background is Vancouver 1957 and the b/w photo is Tent Town, a squatter settlement outside Holberg on northern Vancouver Island 1960.
