Vancouver high (altitude, that is)

My passage through Vancouver Airport last week was almost exactly 50 years to the date of my first flight from that facility, much smaller at that time.
I was living on the northern end of Vancouver Island which required two flights. A DC3 owned by PWA flew from Vancouver to Comox. PWA ostensibly stood for Pacific Western Airlines but some of the jaded locals said that it really meant Please Wait Awhile. After that a Beaver floatplane headed up Quatsino Sound.
The Airbus last week was comfortable but lacked the sense of adventure occasioned by its predecessors.

Nice shot! Makes me nervous about tsunamis, though. I mean, looking at the land and ocean, not being in the plane.
