frosty day
neither giving nor receiving
warmth
I no longer offer support
only the solace of memories
but
they are bright
and
sunshine remains in
recollection
"...and who's to say the universe is but a single thought contained within the mind of God and who's to say it's not? If Love is the lesson then how's the teacher taught? Our lives are connected like pages in a book. The past is the present through which the future looks. Like leaves on a river, like ripples in a brook... our lives are connected." - Noel Paul Stookey

Beautiful! You took a photo that I originally perceived as representing desolation, and shifted my view of it to one of optimism and joy. Well done.
This is quite beautiful - love it!

Austere and lovely.
A splendid poem that really does match the image.
Poetry is such a mixed blessing.
My daughter HATES it and refuses to read it even when it's about her.
Her idea of hell on earth would be to be forced to go to a poetry reading.....
