Puddle

Yes, we can see it when looking up
But it is not ours
The sky is too wide
It belongs to the heavens.

Looking down on rough and puddled ground
Our eyes embrace it
Fitting our limitations
The heavens grant it to us

I can share greatness with you
Not of me
But to me
    Given to be passed on

Thanks to The Mag

nice...it is given to be passed on....i like the though too on the heavens being too wide so we look for it in earth bound frames...

I love your attitude and the belonging of your poem. Heavenly! Thank you for sharing, DCW. (I had the name wrong. Apologies.

You captured the perspective of the artist, both outside and inside. And I like that it is to be passed on ~

Lovely header too ~
