Outside

Nothing says nostalgia like light pouring at night through old windows beneath a tin roof.  It asks, "Do you remember when you were poor but happy?"  It wants me to feel the warmth of a contained glow in the cold dark void.  But I loved the cool darkness, the vault above even when clouds obscured the stars. Let me feel the swoop of the hungry owl.  That is a midnight snack to celebrate.

I like your focus on what's outside. It's quite in keeping with the picture at the top of your blog, which is lovely btw.
