Anti-flatulence - universally speaking

After almost three years, a change of name for the new decade.

The previous blog title originally came from an off-hand comment I made to someone who had asked how I had done all the necessary long-term planning to be in the place I was and doing what I was doing. I laughed and replied, "Planning? I don't plan. I pass through life like a fart in the cosmic wind."

Although partially a self-deprecating joke, the term bore elements of truth. I had always gone with the flow, taking opportunities presented (sometimes impulsively) with little thought to the distant future. This might not accord with certain precepts of modern motivational pop psychology but some consequences of this approach have been quite fortunate.

More recently, however, there has been a change of perspective and, whereas I still feel the force of outside influences, I am more interacting with them than flying headlong before them.

I like the change.

I never say no to dancing. Let us break a bottle of champers over the new blog name to officially celebrate its launch. Standing by, dancing shoes and champagne flute at the ready. Cheers!

I love this. Something - maybe - happening to bring some of us who loved floating on the wind somewhat closer to the ground. I see this as a good thing, yes? Yes.

The Buddhists are spot on when they say life is a precious existence. It definitely is!

Onwards & upwards to 2010!
