Almost three years ago I wrote a reminiscence about my late friend, Mary. I told about losing the packet of seeds for Giant Himalayan Lilies that she had sent me.

Tonight while looking for an old picture I found them.

I am happy.

If they germinate successfully they can grow to 10 feet but take 7 years to bloom.

This morning I owned that I am sometimes given to impatience.

Is Mary about to teach me another lesson?
