Gagana

I look to you to see myself but you reflect two images of me.
One is clear, my beauty exaggerated beyond reality.
The other is more blurred and threatening and I find myself hoping that this too is hyperbole.
But even so . . . neither is the Gagana I know.
Do I need another mirror or maybe none at all?

I love this poem on dual mirror images, but I see one and only one image of love. Beautiful idea.
