Repast future

The silverware is twisted
a little too much torque
I lie beneath the window
wondering what the fork
can possibly be happening
here in old New York

The canvas holds some cutlery
a realistic spoon
my lunch is non-objective
and in the other room
from studio to kitchen
I need to eat real soon

Do you like this picture
it's really avant garde
I can't sit here much longer
the floor is too damned hard
after soup and sammies
I'll print you up a card

Thanks to The Mag

I love this tongue in cheek look at art from the subject's viewpoint..... rhyme included. Very clever, DCW. Thank you for sharing the smiles! Delightful. =D
