Cafe Continental

Reflected saffron light
fragrant citrus
no acid bite to this kiss
only sweetness
lingering
between grain and nuts
grapes on the vine
leaves in the rain
you in me
around me through me
everything
that I dare not
open my eyes

I seem to remember that bistro being on Crescent Street, just up from Ste-Catherine. Don't recall seeing you there...
